Black Rebel Motorcycle Club US Tour Poster Series

Keep an eye out for posters for the entire BRMC US tour this April and May, Hero is doing a series of posters, one for each night of the tour.

Stefan Sagmeister, Things I have learned in my life so far

All I can say is "WOW" a much watch!!



A while back I posted about Stefan Sagmeister's project called, "Things I have learned in my life so far", this truly inspiring glimpse into this project is simple, beautiful, and poetic. This project grew from a list in Stefan's diary during a year long commercial hiatus. He returned to paid work with greater freedom from clients and himself, and created a series of projects spelling out personal truths--"worrying solves nothing," "trying to look good limits my life," and other simple, meaningful statements.

Alexander Girard and InterfaceFLOR

Official distributor of Alexander Girard designs máXimo recently announced its collaboration with InterfaceFLOR, a producer of modular carpet tiles.

The collection, which will launch this spring, will feature Girard's La Fonda del Sol sun imagery, along with the cheerful color palette we've come to associate with the revered mid-century designer. The partnership seems apropos—Girard wrote a letter to Herman Miller president D.J. Depree back in 1953 expressing interest in creating a modular carpet tile system. Some fifty plus years later the market is just catching up.

You've heard the sordid tales of deluxe poster prints sold to you the fans by the artists themselves, now come see for yourself. FLATSTOCK 16 is FREE for everyone so come one come all. Show up early and be ready to be overwhelmed with amazing posters (you might want to bring some dough too since you won't want to leave empty handed.) FLATSTOCK 16 is an all-ages event.
